so it's my birthday!

which is neat

but what's not neat is that between this place and the other place i was at before, this means i've been away from home for like... over 2 years... maybe more? i dunno, time's weird, right?

i didn't think that it would be this, but celebrating your 20th birthday in a weird rainbow-y dreamscape is way beyond anything i could have imagined

and i have a really vivid imagination

ANYWAY i'm thinkin of maybe doin something fun! like a bar crawl! that'd be cool, right?

gotta keep positive, even tho by this rate, i'll be in my 30s by the time i get home...

what's the longest you've been away from home like this? like, not a field trip or something stupid, but like an entirely different world or somethin

maybe it'll make me feel better about having to celebrate 2 birthdays on some planet that's not even earth

I've been in this world for a year now. This is the only other world I've been to, and I'd like to keep it that way. Though... I feel like I just jinxed myself by saying that.

My case is a little odd. I was in another world for a while, then was sent back home, and after a while was sent here. I'm not entirely sure how long I was away from home between the two, or if I should reset that count because I did end up going back home at one point.

in this place, i did fall victim to that weird cursed app thing so i guess i "died" then but

back home, i did get to see the spirit world briefly but i wasn't dead...

I don't mean that sort of thing. I mean properly dying and then going to judgment waiting for the reincarnation cycle.

i'd say so! they're shinigami! they do a bunch of cool, dangerous stuff in the spirit world

only reason i know they even exist tho is because i'm actually able to see em

oh sorry! it's like um... they guide souls and stuff to the afterlife?

where i'm from, yeah... it's not something people are just able to do or whatever... i take it it's super common where you're from?

i'm unlucky as it is! my birthday is april fool's day

but uh it was a giant space station... probably bigger than the entire city and it could house a lot of people... it had a lot of things like shops and bars and hot springs... but it was in space. i hadn't actually breathed real air in months until i came here.

I don't know about common, but as a cultivator dealing with spirits and other such things is normal.

i thought they were just a story device in myths myself...

but wow, so do you do that kinda stuff because you're dead?

I'm not dead anymore. It's a bit hard to do anything when you're dead unless you're haunting people.
