[The video turns on to show a view of the apartments of Level 2 from what seems to be a fairly high vantage point looking down, as if the device is on a roof. While the user isn't visible on camera those familiar with Vanitas will probably recognize the doctor's voice.]

So many of you are fine with accepting that there's no way out of this place. Are you that easily distracted and complacent about being used by the Prismals? Do you just not have anything to go back to? Or maybe you just don't have something that this damned place is keeping you from doing...

[He laughs bitterly before stopping just as abruptly, voice dipping to almost a whisper.]

... Tch. Why am I wasting my breath?

[The video abruptly ends.]

It is about finding someone to blame, huh? So it goes. Instead of pointing fingers, or making asses of you or me, your efforts would be better spent actually doing what you say you're gonna do, wouldn't it? Or even relaxing and accepting that things like this happen. Things you don't like and can't change. Makes life a hell of a lot easier.

Why would I just accept this? Saying that something "can't be changed" without even trying is just no better than just letting myself be used. [And he won't be anyone else's test subject without a fight.]

Well, if you weren't made of completely unfounded assumptions then you're made out of a lot of pride. You do realize we're being used to save the planet though, right? Do you need to give someone permission in order to do that?

I have other things to save that take priority over a place that I didn't choose to come to.
