Who here is awake at 2am in the morning.... sources say that Inaba is. ]

I don't know how many of you guys are up at this late hour, but let's just say Iris cycle kind of keeps me up sometimes and a good distraction is absolutely necessary for a bit.

Therefore!

I will provide some classic late night text entertainment in the form of two separate games:

1) If you are Japanese and would prefer to play some shiritori for me for a challenge, I'm here for it.

OR

2) You can do a 'text adventure' story with me, custom made, on the spot. Just give me a basic genre or concept and I'll think of something quick for you. I need to keep up with my writing skills, after all.

So tl;dr: pick your poison, it's late.

I don't think that's necessarily true all the time. There are plenty of people who have done those sorts of things and have reached great heights - even higher than people who might be considered as 'talented'. After all, talent isn't the only thing that defines a person, you know? If that's all that mattered in the world, we'd be filled in a messed up place.

Because talent does not mean that they are good people.

And the latter is more important than any talent, I think.

Besides, there's this thing called 'learning'. Humans aren't meant to be stagnant and honestly I feel bad for anyone who considers themselves a genius at any one thing, because that's an easy way to potentially get yourself in a pitfall. That's my personal opinion, anyway.

True, I know an amazingly talented person that is the personification of all evil in the world.

I also know someone who can be really stupid and talent-less but is a wonderful person.

It still doesn't change much back home though. Maybe things might change now, that society practically collapsed, but those will talent did always succeed, and those without ignored. Even trash like me was acknowledged for a worthless talent over others that probably worked harder.

It might be nice to see a world where people can do whatever they put their mind to.

Maybe my mindset wouldn't change things back in your world.

But I think it's something that needs to be kept in mind. That the idea of "talent will always succeed and those without being ignored" is stupid. And if the society collapsed because of that mindset?

They need to seriously reevaluate it.

I'm not sure if it was because of the mindset, if anything I would say it's an example of just how much someone with a strong talent can accomplish.

To properly understand it needs to be witnessed. True Talent is amazing and horrifying.

Even my own worthless talent is something others here can't seem to understand. I can't really fathom a world without talent though, it might take a while to understand it.

With the way you phrase it, it sounds more like a super power rather than like, a mundane talent.

I suppose witnessing it would be important to comprehending it a little better one way or another.

Perhaps, though it's definitely not something supernatural or fantastical.

I would show you my talent, but it's terrible and I would worry about your safty.
