Video | un: Оцелотовая Хватка (Forward dated start of Cordis)
[The video feed opens with a small cat perched on it's haunches in front of the device in, obviously filming from one of the standard apartments. Eagle eyed viewers could probably spot some thin wires in the background threaded taut between walls and furniture.
Then it talks in the voice of a fairly gruff sounding older man.]
I usually stick to text with this thing, but as you can presumably see, Cordis has hit me a little harder than usual.
[While absolutely capable of not doing it, talking with his hands was very close to downright instinctual. With paws though, it's more like he's batting an invisible toy. Especially being a type of spotted cat that isn't all that much bigger than a domestic kitten as a fully grown adult and having his wrist rotation limited.]
So I'll get straight to the point: could someone please come open my apartment door?
I can unlock it and turn the handle, but I can't get the momentum to pull it open.
I'm pretty sure just one of my guns weighs more than I do right now.
[ooc: since he'll need assistance multiple times throughout cordis I figure there's no reason for this not to happen more than once even if he only posts the one message to the network.]

[She honestly seems to like doling out her help like this. Blame it partially on her canine instincts.]
This reminds me of home to be honest. I help out my classmates a lot too when I can.

[He says it fondly, not teasing right now.]
Perhaps you could pick up one of those little pet beds from the pet shop for me? I can sleep anywhere, but something a little more size appropriate may be an idea since this will last a few days. [And trying to bring one of those back to his apartment by himself would be a rough time. Like if he'd tried to drag a full sized mattress home by himself as a human.]
I'll send you some funds to cover it.

[... That sounds wrong somehow, doesn't it.]
A-anyway... yes. Right, I'll just. Go do that and stop by.
[She's good on her word too, once she has an address. It takes a bit at the pet shop as this Prismal and that coos over her ears, her tail, the curly fur she sort of hates sometimes and all. They're very touchy-feely people around here sometimes, aren't they.
When she does arrive it's with a knock at his front door at first. And then she recalls the whole reason for his post to begin with.]
Oh! Sorry. Here.
[Let her just open that front door.]

[Even if he wasn't not great at understanding the value on money, the whole chroma and moonlacing thing did strike him as a lot of pressure for a young girl so frankly leaving her with unnecessary extra was probably a good cause as far as he was concerned.]
---
[When she arrives, he's gotten much better at the process of locking and unlocking the door so it's only a second or two of tiny claws on the door. He did briefly consider if it was smart to actually let her into his room, but he was pretty sure he could at the very least claim the drug situation on the coffee table was medicine, and frankly the gun case in the corner could have anything in it. The blatantly male cowboy pinups (and raunchy fursona art commission along the same lines) though, well...]
Be careful about going too far into the room, I string trip wires before I sleep and can't really take them down for guests right now.
[He dropped off the door after relaying the warning with a small thud. Behold: he is tiny.]
action;
By the time she looks back to him he's dropped back on the ground and she just oogles him. Maybe it's not polite but she can't help it, she's never seen something so small that wasn't an insect unless it was a baby.
She hefts the bed still in the bag she had tucked it into after buying it, asking:]
Is there anywhere particular you want this?

I'll be able to take it to my bedroom from here much more easily than trying to make you navigate the trip wires.
It can be my weight lifting for the day.
