I have a few queries for anyone who wants to read, since I've been a little absent lately and had a while to let these build up.

Firstly! For those of us from some facsimile of Earth, are you excited for whatever Lunatian equivalent there is for Valentine's Day? How do you plan on celebrating, if so? I'm not sure of what grandiose gesture I'm going to perform, but if anyone can play musical instruments, I'd like to enlist your help! Also, if you want to get your love fortune read, I do own Khan el-Khalili in Caihong, and do tarot reading.

Secondly, a discussion got me incredibly curious about the cultural spread here in Lunatia amongst the Moonblessed! Especially food-wise; I'm Egyptian, myself, and I think it would be fantastic if we could organise some sort of potluck or...I don't know! Some sort of culinary cultural exchange! If anyone's interested, I'd love to hear ideas and the like! You can thank user Jaguar for this idea; they gave me the inspiration and deserve due credit :)

Ah, I'd gladly eat with my hands with friends too! As long as they've washed them, of course. But the food of my homeland is often designed to be eaten that way, so I might be biased; I can't imagine eating noodles with my fists, after all!

And maybe you're from my past, which is...New! I'm usually from everyone else's past, to be honest. Is this place much of a shock to the system, for you?

It would definitely be hard to eat noodle with you fists. I can't really imagine much you wouldn't use chopsticks for.

This place is... yes, it's very strange. This little box is also strange. I don't really understand how it works, but... I was at least able to find a way to use it. There are a lot of bright lights and loud noises as well. It is quite amazing that there is no need for fire to have light, or any use of spiritual arts.

Chopsticks are wonderful things; I prefer using them over Western cutlery, if I have the option! Chopsticks, spoons, and my hands. That's all a good meal really requires.

If it makes you feel any better, I struggle sometimes with this place too. This sort of place was what we all thought the future would be like, glowing neon and little boxes and things done for us to make our lives easier. And that I haven't had to fight for my right to exist as myself is...Strange! Nice, certainly. But I feel like I'm growing rusty.

But we're working it out and adapting, which is really what humanity is all about. So you should be proud of yourself!

You had to fight to exist?

I actually like that there isn't any fighting here... I'm tired of fighting....

People like me are drawn to each other, and a lot of them, where I'm from, are the sort of people who would hunt out rivals and kill them. Especially when I refuse to ally with their master. So, to exist peacefully, I'd have to be wary and treat everyone like a possible threat.

It is nice, isn't it? The not fighting part. I should probably just look at exercising instead of bemoaning the lack of life-threatening battles; I don't want anyone to go through that, not here. I hope that it stays mostly peaceful, for your sake and for everyone else's.

That's so terrible! Why do they feel a need to do that? Even in the cultivation world there is usually more of a reason to kill your rivals....

Well... I suppose actually, not really... everyone just has to decide that person isn't worth living....

Perhaps you could engage in training with others of a similar skill level?
