audio | writing this post made me want pie
[what's up everybody, your texan boy is here
the audio starts with a telltale flick of a lighter, followed not long after by an exhale from the first drag of a cigarette]
You know what's a damn shame?
I been here a year and I still ain't found anywhere that makes decent pecan pie.
I know I can always make my own. Reckon I can't complain too much about not findin' hometown cookin' on an alien planet, but... mhn. Still miss that diner down on 71 towards Austin. Mateo made pie so good you'd climb a dang power pole for seconds.
General poll, 'cause I got nothin' better to do. You miss any kinda food from home? Diner cookin', mama's cookin', anything.

[Honestly, Dell is a dude who has seen and done a lot of over-the-top wild shit. He also comes from a wild
canonworld where he earned 11 PhDs and the entire country of Australia inhaled magic rocks and got smarter, buffer, and mustache-ier. Most things don't phase him.But sex still sort of does. For some reason. A colleague of his literally removed a man's skeleton just because he could but somehow Dell's shy about openly talking about dick.
That said, he can be professional. He'll pause awkwardly a lot, sure, but it's cool!!]
For what... purpose, exactly? Besides scientific study 'n all.

[ Well, there you go. ]

Well, damn. Makes sense. [Sound reasoning, especially to a man from 1972. He doesn't want to sound patronizing, though, so he leaves it at that.] You definitely wound up on the right planet, then.

[ She takes a breath. She always gets a little passionate when her work gets brought up. It's important - to her, and, she believes, to the world more generally. ]
Though I'm not sure how animal transformations and... moon cycles will help me. But it's interesting, at least.

Depending on what you're into.

[ She looks very faintly amused, but she's got a pretty good poker face, so there's no judgment or anything like that in her expression. ]

[ She's not so much asking him that question - it's rhetorical, mostly. She's almost talking to herself now.
She really needs to start writing up some questions. ]

But I ain't exactly explored what gets folks rocks off around here.
[dell conagher that is a filthy lie]

I bet a little research on this network would dig up some things, either way.
