How does one meet the needs of a living child?
Do they require a place to sleep?
Things to eat?
What else should be given to them?
Thank you for any assistance given in the responses.

Well then it was time to cook something up. Having already babysat some she was fairly acquainted with what they ate. While a couple breeds were omnivorous they definitely all ate meat of some sort. Lobco didn't know what this one ate so the safe bed was just to go with meet.
The shrimp began inspecting the cabinets. She figured there were no ingredients, after all Hollow Knight had no need to eat and from what she had seen when she lived with them and the other arthropods, neither vessel ever did eat even for enjoyment. At least not as far as she had seen.
What the kitchen did have were some basic utensils and kitchenware as her and Grimm's apartment had started out with too. She goes about setting these up while pulling out the ingredients she had bought. It was safe to feed them raw meat but that felt wrong.
Lobco didn't like cooking meat for obvious reasons, but when you lived in a house with a dog, cat, crocodile, owl and bear it was inevitable that she had to work with it.]
Have you ever done any cooking, Hollow Knight?
[She knew there was no chance of that back in Hallownest, but perhaps they had some opportunity here in Prismatica?]

The Wyrm would not like it to be a poor host.
... And it did not wish to be, either.
In answer to her question, it shook its head and made the sign for never, which was only true. In all its training, this was not something it had ever been expected to know. Its Father ate but rarely, and its Mother could make her own food if she so chose. Who else would it have been expected to serve - Hornet?
Weavers had caught and ate their own food. They were proud of it.
So it thought for a moment, and then reached for the pen and pad it kept nearby. It could use the communicator, but this felt more personable. The dragon tried to gnaw at the pen, but it gently prised their jaws from it and back onto the toy, and 'spoke'. ]
If you would teach me, I would be eager to learn.

The dragons mostly eat meat which is something I never eat so I'm not as versed at cooking meat dishes, but I've done it before.
[With the kitchenware and all the ingredients put out, they were ready.]
I thought they'd like some steak, so I got that. [Only a skirt steak since she wasn't sure she could manage anything more delicate than that.]
