What's the point of turning 20 when you can't even celebrate it with the people you care about? [she twitches her ear, taking a long sip from an oversized straw.] At least my birthday fell on the day after Triple Moon, huh?

Less chance of me running into a Sanguis with uncontrollable bloodlust.

Twenty is old now?

It's the oldest I've ever been.

Makes sense. I'll be twenty-one next month, but I never though of that as "old". Not when I've got such energetic friends who are much older than me.

Hm, I wouldn't necessarily say that old people are the only ones who treat their birthday as just another day. It has more to do with personal feelings.

Of course having others there with you to celebrate also certainly helps.

I was hoping to spend my 20th birthday with my boyfriend but since he's not here it feels like it doesn't really matter.

Honestly, they way months work here don't actually line up with what I remember my last month back home was.

Ah, I see. I'm sorry. But even so it's not a meaningless thing to celebrate.

People seem to care a lot about their birthdays around here.

It seems kind of weird since we all get pulled in from different months anyway. The last time I was back home it was winter, and my birthday was a little under a year away.

Wondered about that, too. Do people go by the time of the year or how long their actual birthday should be...?

Not one to talk, anyway. Always had a complicated situation with the age department. Birthdays were never a big deal. [So why should she care?]
