Question: if you're having really vivid dreams that leave you waking up... messy, what are they and how do you make them stop?
[ when you skipped past puberty, don't know what to call a wet dream, and have no internet searching skills... you make the mistake of asking the internet. but seriously. how do you make them stop?! at least give him a term to research, please! ]

Like a messy bed?
( this is clearly not a text mika should engage in but ok. )
lmfasd ah, yes, great... embarrassing beginnings
That's part of it, yeah. It's annoying.
in the future they can look back on how their first ever convo went and be proud
You can't help moving in your sleep and making a mess.
Have you tried looking for better sheets? I'm sure someone had a similar problem and probably made something of the kind!
"that time we talked about messy morning business"

Ah, he feels bad for this guy, though... For the past several hundred years, he hasn't had to worry about this! Hasn't had to sleep! The answer is: Ascend to godhood, don't sleep anymore! Unless you need to sleep in a show of solidarity to your more mortal friend...
He is so glad he learned how to use the "anonymous" option. ]
There's no way to make them stop. You just need to reach the bath first before anyone else.
no subject
He also has a dog sharing his body and is half a soul so... things might be weird there. Still. ]
You can't be serious, tha's such a pain! It's not like I don't bathe every day as it is, but you're supposed to just, run for the bath and do what, change your sheets every time?!
no subject
And since this is anonymous- ]
You need to wash your sheets every day? That's messier than I was expecting... But if you bathe every day regardless of what happens, it doesn't make a difference. Either way, you're still taking a bath!

Try sleeping on your back. [ Intuitively, less contact means less external stimuli. ] That might help.
[ Chances are that admitting something like this, then floundering over it, might as well be like waving a flag announcing this person's age. Which is concerning when someone might get it in their head to take advantage of their youthful naivete. So he makes a pointed addition to his commentary. ]
Ignore anyone who offers to help you with this in person.
[ Considering the nature of the network, he thinks this is a fair warning. ]
bless you, binghe
he hadn't thought about if anyone would be ridiculous enough to offer to help in person, but now that this man (he sounds like a guy, at least) offers that advice, he guesses that seems about the level of weird things people might do. like the weird guy talking about making your arm numb to... who knows. he honestly still can't figure out the logic there, and doesn't want to. ]
Okay, I can try that. I'm a side sleeper normally, so it'll just be like reminding myself to sleep like I'm recovering.
[ it's a joke in a way, since he's a side sleeper since becoming (demonically) healthy, and before then, he'd been on his futon on his back, because that' simply how it'd always been. maybe he can even try sleeping in the floor... that'd keep him from rolling over, at least. too uncomfortable for other reasons. ]
Yeah, that seems like the wrong answer anyway. If it's happening, it shouldn't need someone else to solve. It's got to be a normal thing, right?
[ he assumes... but doesn't know. and didn't feel like talking with the prismals about it, when they're far too eager to talk about sex and he's not angling that way, thank you! he might have worked up to asking his roommate... but he hasn't been around the last few days, so that was simply not possible. doesn't even answer his overly complex phone! ]

Were you recovering from an injury of some sort?
[ Binghe mirrors that particular word back almost on instinct. His first assumptions that would apply to long stretches of healing while lying flat differ wildly, but all of them hold a degree of severity. ]
It's common enough where I come from.
[ He'll steer clear of any more specifics on what's normal or not from his own perspective. The details on these things tend to become less apparent when you're fighting a daily battle for your life; suffering a constant flood of anxiety, anger and bone-deep sorrow before meeting the marker of eighteen. ]
There's also meditation. Or bathing in cold water to clear your mind before trying to rest.
[ Luo Binghe did once jump into a freezing spring and that had instantly solved similar troubles. But he imagines it could act as a preventative measure, when so often cultivation sects practiced quenching their disciple's inner fires with icy dips into natural springs.

They become less common with time. Usually.

Patience can't be the only way of dealing with these. And what do you mean, usually?!
[ If it's at least short term, he can look forward to what, growing out of them? Yet that word, "usually," makes him wonder just how true a statement that is.
Besides, he still doesn't know what the known terms are for these things! So aggravating!
(Still a more helpful answer than make your arm dumb guy.) ]

It's different for everyone. Certain factors can affect the likeliness of their occurrence, for instance.
Did you see anything that excited you, the day before the dream?

can't do much about them, sorry
good news is that they're normal

At least knowing they're normal helps, but that's so annoying with the rest... Wet dreams? Stupidly accurate!
There's seriously nothing to do?

Be physically active all day so that you're too tired to dream at night.

I'm usually pretty active as it is... I don't like staying still. Is there any specific exercise you recommend? Would swimming work?
