[Maybe you were out and about today or otherwise just minding your business on a quiet and uneventful day like any other in the aftermath of the attack of the jellyfish.

When your network device turns on, an unexpected video feed from a name of a fellow Moonblessed.

There's no such moonblessed on screen, though! Just a conspicuous ball of fluff. After a moment of shuffling and what sounds like rumbling, out of nowhere… SUDDENLY…!]

[You see a cute little kitty's face. She can't be a moonblessed as Cordis is not visible, so she must belong to someone. Whoever it may be is not on screen but that won't stop the cat from greeting the network with the tiniest:]

Mew, mew! Meoooow!!

[She's very talkative. But where is her owner? Will you let him know of this cheeky cat deciding she wanted a spotlight? Or do you just want to talk to the kitty. Either is fine since it doesn't seem like he's in the room or even aware of what's happening.]

[She was clearly very pleased with herself. There's the sound of her weight dropping to the floor while she circled contently around her owners legs.

The owner who sounds distinctly not like a cat nor like any of those tiny meows.]

I believe she may have began the broadcast by stepping on it... Ah, but that is impressive in itself, I suppose. [Almost as impressive as her getting into his apartment without being detected.]

[The person comes as a surprise, but he doesn't pause for long.]

Simply had to speak to everyone, it sounds like. Is she your pet?

[Spending most of his time wandering far away from the big cities, he traveled through many a town without even a scrap to spare for even stray animals. And he'd never had a pet before...]

[She's still speaking to everyone, even from below her mews come through. Clearly much louder than her soft spoken new owner.]

It would seem she is now... she refuses to leave. [He doesn't sound upset about that, but he also doesn't sound thrilled.

Really though he was just confused.]

[Just the sound of the cat can bring a smile to his face-- not that it's too difficult to do that.]

It sounds more like she's chosen you to be hers! Perhaps she senses that you'll be good to her.

[Reminds him a little of a companion of his own, back home. Certainly not a pet, but how people tend to attract others to them when they least expect it.]

I confess I cannot see where she got that impression... I've little experience with house pets. [The kind of animals he DID have experience with are a lot less friendly than a stray cat. Or, not so stray anymore.]

Ah, but so long as she stays I will do all I can for her... [A rather adamant "mrow!" can be heard as soon as that declaration is made. Almost like she knows he's likely to spoil her.]

At least in a place like this, information is a lot more easy to find about anything. I'm sure you will do right by her. It might be nice to find a pet of my own, to make my place more lively as well... I might almost feel jealous.

Indeed. I've received a fair amount of advice from others since she sought to broadcast. There are a number of knowledgeable individuals about. [For all his... issues with the realm at least there's that. Of course now she's decided to jump back on the table so her purring is much easier to hear now.

[He holds back any question of what she's doing, not really liking to call attention to the reason why he chooses the voice option over the video one for his side of the feed.

With a laugh, he starts to consider what it'd be like to have such a silly, demanding cat. Though he somewhat already knows in the form of a human roommate.]
