[Lunatia's resident centaur lady is back on screen, and this time she's sharing the spotlight with... a table full of fresh vegetables? Still a bit dirty, fresh from the soil, good ol' vegetables... That Konoha bows over to start out.]
Hello, everyone! My name is Konoha... I'm a jinba, or a "centaur" if you want... I'm from Echigo in Japan, but lots of people say I'm from the past...
[She's just going to do the same introduction every time, counting off details on her fingers to make sure she gets all the good points... there's too many people on this thing and she doesn't check it enough to keep track... oops. Anyway-]
I wanted to ask people some questions about food! My husband and I have set up a little farmstead, but the crops are growing, um, way faster than they really ought to be... [we're just going to speed past the blush] and it's not like we actually have to work for money here, so I was thinking of not just taking the crops to market but... serving meals at the house? Or sending them to people elsewhere in the city? I don't know, but I've met a lot of people here who said they just eat food from the stores, and I know those are really convenient, but it can't be better than a home cooked meal, can it?

[Look at this big turnip! Isn't it healthy looking?! Don't you just want to eat it?? Konoha smiles, making the root vegetable dance around the screen.]
So... can I ask you some questions about what sort of food you like? Or what kind of things you miss from your home? Maybe what they make in your country with vegetables? If you give me some of your time, I'll send you some fresh ones as a "thank you"-
Promise!
[One last bow... and she and the turnip sign off.]

Ah, that is an absolutely wonderful idea. I like vegetable and seafood dishes, especially if they've got a bit of spice to them. There's nothing as of yet I can't get here that I miss from home outside of certain varieties of wild game, but I have been enjoying trying things that are unfamiliar to me enough that it's not bothering me all that much.

[her turnips bring all the healthy eating boys to the yard!!]
My village was a bit too far away from the ocean for fresh seafood, so I don't know much about cooking with much but salted mackerel... but, oh, you like game? What about boar? I love boar hotpot... and sometimes I can find it in the market from outside the city!
[mmmmmmm boar... mmmm she's getting hungry]

I have a slight preference for wild pheasant, but boar is delicious, as well. Boar hot pot does sound delicious...

[But wait- Monastery?!]
Mister Seteth is a monk? I thought you couldn't eat meat?

[hm...]
I’m not terribly familiar with how other religions handle it, but the Church of Seiros doesn’t impose dietary restrictions on its followers.

[She's never... thought to fry that. Now she really, really needs to. She really should have made this post after lunch...]
Really? Your Seiros must be really forgiving! The Buddhas apparently get mad if you eat things with four legs...
[Not that... that stopped some people from eating jinba during the wars.]

Ah, well, Saint Seiros is more of a messenger on behalf of the Goddess, who is the true arbiter in matters such as these. Ultimately, I believe the biggest restrictions consistent with her teachings would be that you avoid needless cruelty and that you do not kill and eat other beings capable of intelligent thought.

[So like... the boars on the mountain for the mountain god! She totally gets it.]
Well, those sound like nice teachings. No one should eat smart things... and when you go hunting you should be as quick as possible. Makes sense.

Yes, precisely.
In any case, I do wish you luck in your endeavors, and I hope you get the chance to experience many new things here, particularly in the culinary department.

I hope you'll come by for a meal if I get things up and running!
