Good day. My name is Sandalphon, and I manage Cafe Azure.

With Valentine's Day approaching, I would like to devise a menu for the occasion. Since our realms differ greatly, what flavors and motifs are common to the holiday where you come from?

I'm familiar with chocolate and anatomically inaccurate hearts.

Also, do any local businesses offer free refreshments to new arrivals? It has occurred to me that this may help them acclimate.

I'm unfamiliar with "bologna", but I assume it's ill-suited to chocolate.

Anyway, I think the point is less than people want to pretend their eating human hearts and more like people like to watch people eat certain fruits.

Like you could do pink chocolate-dipped bananas too and you'd probably make a killing. Do a image search for "sexy banana eating" and you'll see what I mean.

I meant no offense, rather I had nothing else by which to refer. In my own world, it would be Skydweller. But as I know your name now, I shall use it.

Observing others eating? This is the first I've heard of such a thing, but once I determine how do perform an image search as you say, I can look into it.

My world has nothing like this technology. The Astrals were far more advanced than the Skies are at present, but so far as I know, they didn't have a "network" either.

Just go up to someone who likes you and stick the banana like as far as you can down your throat, then pull it out. Repeat that like 3-4 times without breaking eye contact and see what happens.

I'd rather not run the risk of causing them undue concern. If they think me unwell, I've no doubt they would worry.

It's seldom that I eat, as it isn't necessary. And I don't play with food.

That is virtually every holiday in this world.

Where I come from, however, it's a day for expressing your appreciation for others.

I mean, that's one way to share your appreciation.
I don't have the experience of receiving one, but I doubt any guy's going to complain.

No! We don't really have Valentine's in my world.
I learned about it in another world. This is my first year getting to celebrate here.

I am a Primal being, more specifically a Primarch. We're artificial beings and lack the biological needs others possess, for instance eating. Similarly, we don't procreate as other beings do.

Though we can eat recreationally, I'm uncertain our physiology would even allow for the activity you alluded to.

My form is the same I suppose, but in over two thousand years, I can safely say there was no purpose in it. To that end, it's no different than if there were a void.

Primal beings were originally weapons, more or less. So much of what is mundane to others is new to those like me, holidays included.
