I was wondering...if anyone would like to play a game! After everything that's happened I thought maybe something fun would be good to take people's minds off of things.

It's called word association and you basically start off saying a word and then the other person has to think of another word they associate with it! It's really fun, and I think everyone could learn a bit more about each other playing it. Feel free to play with each other too. I. I just want everyone to enjoy themselves. So I'll start with the word: white! Now you have to think of a word that you associate with it.

But! That's not what I...really wanted to talk about. I. I also wanted to ask if anyone would be interested in learning sign language. I know we can all understand each other inherently here, which is amazing, isn't it? People can understand speech and writing but I'm not sure I've met many people who know sign language off the bat. I...think that learning a new language might be fun for some people, right?

[ Maaaybe?! He's so bad at this. Maybe this wasn't a good idea?! He doesn't even know. He's awkward so please don't rag on him too bad!! He's so not good with addressing entire networks of people and offering to teach people stuff. ]

Anyway. If you have any questions, or would even like to offer up your own language to teach or learn...please don't hesitate to speak with me! It could be like an exchange of sorts! And we could have weekly meetings, it might be fun! [ Or not. ] Thank you for taking the time to read this, I really appreciate it!! And please have fun playing this game with one another!

[ Shigeru?! He forgot to mention to keep it PG-13, whoops. Please don't be too naughty. Think of the children!!

Ooc: assume this is after the Port Sylvel disaster! ]

( Give her a few minutes before she answers again: she's painting. )

You make it up to me every day by being my friend. You give yourself too little credit; I enjoy our time spent together very much.
Though I certainly wouldn't turn down more of your cooking!
It's always been a pleasure.

As for lily ponds, water lilies are a sort of flower that grow on very large leaves allowing them the surface tension needed to stay afloat. They look like this:

There was a famous painter that did a style... similar to this, but much better than I can manage on a tablet— Claude Monet. Some of his most famous pieces were of water lilies on a pond in his garden.

I'm always willing to try any and every kind of pasta dish you can think up.
I've even had one made with squid ink before! It was... interesting? But very silky!

It's one of many known styles; I wouldn't say they can all paint like this, and this is a poor enough imitation of it, but it was from roughly 200 years ago. He and a handful of others are internationally historic and incredibly famous. You would have to be quite the hermit to have never heard of them. Still, I would love to see your take on it, some time.

They're not any slimier than any other sealife. 🤭
They're very tasty! Squid is often served deep-fried in a bread crumb batter— the dish is called calamari.

I wouldn't mind trying your home's cuisine in the least; I love food adventures.

And I'll love to see your take on the style! You still owe me some work to hang in the clinic after all.
