Greetings,

I would first and foremost like to extend my gratitude to those who reside here. Most I have spoken to have been informative, accommodating and I know I am not alone in feeling a sense of reassurance in such things. There seems to be a sense of camaraderie and it is good to know that no matter how many new people arrive here there will be those to help pick them up.

So I shall take advantage of such generosity once again and ask two more questions, ones that could be considered personal so please do not feel obligated to answer.

How long have you been here and if the opportunity arose, would you go home?

i've been here for... jeez, a little over a year now? i didn't think it was actually THAT long wow

i dunno if i wanna go home or not though. i miss a few things and people, but its... kinda messy and complicated i guess?

A year? That certainly is a lengthy span of time. I wonder if time passes differently here?

And I understand complicated. This place appears to be very nice and a little peaceful. I can see why some would wish to stay.

I feel like this question has been asked recently...

But I've been here for a little over a year, and yeah, I would go home. I have school to graduate, classes to go to and family.

My most sincere apologies. I am still getting used to figuring out how this device works; we have nothing like it back home. If this has been asked prior then I did not look correctly.

A year is an awfully long time. It does sound like you have enough to be going back to when you return. If I had the same option I would most likely take it too.

Over a year, I believe.

I have no desire to return home, so no. Even if I do have such a desire, it's impossible for me.

A long time to be in such a place.

Impossible? Would it be too intrusive of me to ask why?

Good day. I have been here a little over a year, now. And as to going home - I would like to, but not yet. Not yet. There are people who are important to me who are still here, and I do not want to abandon them. And yourself?

There seem to be many who have been here in the long term, rather than the short.

I have not thought of it that way; most of my thinking has been towards home rather than those that are here.

There are people back home who rely on me, staying here too long would likely do more harm than good.

I've only been here for a month. However, I have nothing to return to, and as such I have no desire to leave.

An honest answer and much appreciated. I am sorry that there is nothing for you to return to. Are you finding that this place is good enough to be considered a new home?

Hm.

A year at the end of next month.
Don't know. It's a complicated question. I have reasons to go home, but there's a lot I'd miss here.
Mostly people.
But there are people back home, too. Someone I need.

And complicated seems to be a common theme. I too now have reasons to stay but I am needed back home. Perhaps the person you need could arrive here?

I've only been here for about a month, and I've no reason to go back. This place is a lot better than my situation back home.

[ And Anduin isn't familiar with the network yet, so he wouldn't be able to figure out who's talking even if it was someone he knew. Alas, poor Anduin.]

I had a feeling some would have come from places that are not quite as peaceful as this one. Even my own world is currently in the midst of a crisis, so I can understand that some would have the sentiment of not wishing to return.

I've been here for a little over half a year. Next month will make it eight months, in fact.

As for returning home...

I miss it and everyone there and for those reasons, I'd like to return. But I have a great deal more freedom here.

Eight months is quite some time.

More freedom makes sense. It would seem there are fewer rules here than there are back home, even for myself. That and there appears to be a lot to learn!

I've been here for over a year, but I was actually in yet another different world beforehand. I was in that place for about a year as well.

As for going home, I'm finding it harder and harder to convince myself to go back when the time comes. I have a lot of things here that I didn't back home.

You were in a world different to your own before arriving here?? I cannot begin to imagine how frustrating that must have been.

A lot of things here are certainly more useful than back home. Just speaking with others like this is much faster than writing letters.

It is strange to say. In this place, I was here for a few months, and then I went home? Now I am back again, and it has been about two months again.

As for going home... yes, I would like to come home, but I am not in the hurry. It is nice to not be worried about the world as much, even for the little time.

Forgive me for asking more questions, but when you went home had time passed? Many people say it does not but they also appear to be vague about it.

It would indeed be nice not to worry about the world.

I've been here for a few months, almost a year. As for going home, that's difficult to say. I don't exactly come from a pleasant place, which is putting it lightly, so staying here where things are a little more even with the good and bad is tempting. I also have duties to fulfill in my world but, I also have a good thing going here that I'll never get back home. It's a hard choice and one not to be taken lightly.

It sounds like a difficult choice and I do not envy you for it. Most seem to feel that this place is acceptable which makes me wonder if there is any rhyme or reason to those who are brought here.

It has been 468 days since my arrival, but I have actually been here for only 465, as I briefly and unexpectedly returned to my own world at the beginning of the fourth month I know that I must return eventually. But I am in no hurry to do so
