Greetings,

I would first and foremost like to extend my gratitude to those who reside here. Most I have spoken to have been informative, accommodating and I know I am not alone in feeling a sense of reassurance in such things. There seems to be a sense of camaraderie and it is good to know that no matter how many new people arrive here there will be those to help pick them up.

So I shall take advantage of such generosity once again and ask two more questions, ones that could be considered personal so please do not feel obligated to answer.

How long have you been here and if the opportunity arose, would you go home?

Good day.

I have been here a little over a year, now. And as to going home - I would like to, but not yet. Not yet.

There are people who are important to me who are still here, and I do not want to abandon them.

There seem to be many who have been here in the long term, rather than the short.

I have not thought of it that way; most of my thinking has been towards home rather than those that are here.

There are people back home who rely on me, staying here too long would likely do more harm than good.

In this time, several people I know have been here, then gone, then come again. From different times, sometimes earlier, sometimes later.

They have no memories of this place either way, nor have I been missing for any of them. So it seems probable that when we are returned, we are returned to the time we were taken from. So however long we spend here, those who need us will not miss us overlong.

Of course, there could be different explanations, too, but - your absence might not be harmful.

It truly doesn't move then? That is fascinating and I would very much like to understand how that works. I have a feeling those secrets are kept under lock and key and quite rightly too.

People we know arriving from different times is....unexpected. Is it possible for people from earlier in the timeline to show up, even if they would be unable to if there was a later point?

I hope it is not harmful, the timing was not the best in arriving here.

I do not know if it doesn't move, or, for example, it is not like wandering off the path to seek out something unexpected, and then you return to the same place and resume the path, only with time, not with an actual road. If that makes sense? But again, this is only a guess. We do not even know who knows the secrets, at this time.

As to people from a later time... from my world, there have been people showing up who have been... gone almost as long as I have been alive. But they have been here.

It is... harder, when they leave.

I see, I think that is a very good way of putting things and makes it easy to get a grasp of. I would suppose worrying about time is not something I can change whilst I am here, I should focus on what I can change.

Understandable. Saying goodbye is never easy at the best of times.
