[ A video comes on and here's your friendly neighborhood red deer appearing. Only...looking a bit different. Instead of having his normal ears, he has long, rabbit ears. He doesn't look too amused by this, either. He also has a pair of glasses settled on his face. ]

So, this is cool. I knew we could change Moonblessings. These glasses make me look like my dad.

So...

Any advice for a fresh new Iris? I had kind of hoped if I were Iris that I'd...just stay a deer and not change too much.

But it looks like that's a big old 'no' for me. It's really different from Sanguis... I'm going to miss getting taller and stronger.

[ And this is the moment where he pauses. Then, seems to realize he should probably just ask aout it. ]

And...I need some more adjustments made on my prosthetic, so if anyone is an expert in that - it's not like anyone could anticipate that I'd suddenly end up thirty centimeters shorter.

[It's a video that's been pre-recorded, given there's a few cuts here and there and some cute text, but overall it's largely one take. Ayer, Minato's boyfriend, is the cameraman.]

Ever heard of a Puppuccino?

[It starts off with Minato setting down a cup holder with four drinks, text appearing over the cups naming which drink belonged to who: one for Ayer (coffee that's actually Minato's), one for Minato (fruity tea that's actually for Ayer shh, it's secret), and the two smaller cups say Koromaru and Mochi, followed by "Puppucinos! Puppy + Capuccino"

This is where a cut happens and now Minato is kneeling down on the ground, holding the two small cups out and due to some bizarre finagling of the animals, ends up with his arms crossed while holding them. Koromaru, the albino shiba, and Mochi, the samoyed, are both happily lapping up the drinks.

What's startling to see for those who might know Minato, he's actually laughing!]

[The video then cuts to Mochi and then Koromaru, who by now has his muzzle almost buried completely in the cup!]

E-Easy! It's not going anywhere. You guys are going to eat the cup at this rate...

Ahh, I'm going to have to clean your faces...

[There's a small time lapse, both the dogs have somewhat cleaner faces but they're still trying to get to the last of the drink. Eventually, Minato is sitting properly on the ground and cups are cut slightly to allow them to get to the very last drop! By the time they're just licking cup that has been licked clean, Minato hands them to Ayer who is still unseen (except his bandaged hand taking the empty cups) and soon, Minato has two dogs pressing their messy faces against his own, sniffing and licking as though wondering if there were more anywhere else!]

Ack! Koro-chan-! Mochi!

[The video wisely ends there as it's clear that Ayer moved in to help. For those who know Ayer, they would see his bandaged hands just before the cut. Just like in the beginning, text appears again.]

They sell these in Amegahara if anyone else wants to give it a try. Koromaru and Mochi have given their seal of approval!

[Followed by a picture of said dogs with happy puppuccino faces (i.e. before Minato and Ayer cleaned them off)!]

[ A break from your regularly scheduled Sanguis in the late afternoon of July 1. On video is an almost naked JJ - standing much taller than normal, scales crawling over his arms and to his face, with curved horns. He's dressed in an oversized t-shirt that says I'm Not Perfect, But I'm Canadian. So close enough.

He's holding up a Canadian flag, which he got from god knows where, and it's mostly hiding that he's actually clothed today. He's grinning stupidly, fangs and all. His voice sounds just a little different thanks to being exalted, though he sounds quite cheerful. The background? His kitchen. Clean but there's definitely a lot of baked goods even in view. ]

Happy Canada Day! If I were home today, I'd be eating my mom's berry pie and watching fireworks. I could probably find some fireworks, and I am great at baking, but nothing is as good as mom's, I guess.

That being said I made way too many sweets and I can't eat them all, so if anyone wants some baked goods, they're free to a good home. Just drop your info and I'll have them delivered to you. I have a few different variety of pies, some Nanaimo bars, that sort of thing.

If you don't want sweets, tell me about a food you're missing from home.

I think I saw that some people had come out of crystal stasis. Has anyone crystallized due to draining your chroma too much? Does it happen quickly or slowly? And how do you get out of it if it encases you completely?

I'm asking for myself, it almost happened as I hadn't realized one of my Personas used more than the others. It also slowed the process, but it wasn't a pleasant feeling to experience. So, I'd like to know more about it for the future.

Whatever you can provide, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Apparently some places won't pierce the ears of people being influenced by Cordis. They wouldn't even listen when I told them I'd been considering it for a while.

[Minato actually didn't intend to make a video, he was in the process of writing out the network post when Koromaru abruptly jumped onto the bed and tucked himself under his arm, dislodging his thumb from the keypad to hit the video button instead.]

[So, you get one blue-haired teen who had a little flush across his cheeks and peeking from underneath his bangs is a cold patch on his forehead. His usual headphones were clipped to his ears and now he was adjusting himself into a better position. He didn't really mind suddenly being on camera, but having a fever and not exactly look the greatest wasn't the way he wanted to present himself today. But, he settled and Koromaru kept himself still and half his furry face visible, two cute red eyes peeking at the camera here.]

I suppose this saves time. Figured everyone could do with music that wasn't boy band related, or pop related for that matter. So, I've compiled a bunch of playlists. I asked a few friends for some help but if there's something you want to add or suggest, let me know and I'll look for it, there's a lot on the Lunatia internet too and I'm stuck here for a few days. I have been thinking about this quite a bit lately, and... I think that we ought to, if possible... that is, to the extent that it is possible...

We need to do a little, of course, to survive. Obviously we should all feel free to do that amount. But beyond that minimum, we should most likely refrain.

This will certainly be a great sacrifice... and terribly difficult, especially during the moon cycles... and no doubt quite unpleasant in many ways as well. For some of us more than others. But while the effects of chroma generation initially seemed exclusively beneficial, with the very worst of them still being harmless, it is now more than clear that there are others that are neither predictable nor safe.

[ now he shuts his eyes. ]
