I'm sick of trying to feel better about everything and being kind and showing everyone oh look moonblessed are harmless teehee let's just
be angry
anon is fine
come tell me who or what makes you angry, get it out there
[ Emerald is not anon, but she doesn't mind if any characters are. Unless otherwise stated, please assume she is not responding anonymously. She doesn't know how to cope with feelings of loss, so this is the best and most productive thing she could think of to try to get it out without wanting to punch everyone she speaks to in the face like she has for the past couple of weeks. So please, vent with her and be angry. ]

What’s on your mind? Angry about something?
no subject
everything all the time and i'm sick of lying to myself that it's going to stop
no subject
It’ll stop if you learn to make it stop. How that works, however, is entirely up to you.
no subject
yeah ok
do you have anything other than fortune cookie advice to go off of without knowing anything about me?
no subject
no subject
Not a fan. Too flashy.
no subject
Well, I’m all out of ideas now. I’m not very good at this.
Wouldn’t it be nice, though? If we could just burn the things that we hate?
no subject
The first person who loved me disappeared from this world a couple of weeks ago. He promised we would find a way to take me back to his world, so I wouldn't ever have to go back to mine. I only have Chihiro left, and I love him but I don't think he can keep that promise either. I think everyone in this world is fooling themselves if they think they have any chance of holding onto anything they care for here.
Doesn't sound like a flammable source of anger.
no subject
No, it doesn’t.
So what will you do? Burn yourself? That’s what will happen if you keep holding onto all that. It’s not your fault you’re surrounded by optimists, so you don’t need to punish yourself with their idealism.
Tell me, what do you like to eat? I’ll order you something.
no subject
But what he says is actually kind of comforting. Maybe not what she'd wanted (apparently no one else wanted to gripe about their problems) but it's nice to feel validated about people and they stupid, senseless optimism. Sometimes she just wants to choke a bitch out for being happyall the time when she's known her whole life that she's going to be miserable one way or the other. It's nice when someone gets that. ]
I'm not picky but I'm not going to sit alone eating pity delivery.

[ seimei thinks she’s responding well to this. her caustic attitude is hard to predict, but now that he’s laid out some quite serious things about his thought patterns, he needs to make sure it looks like it was all a joke on his part.
for someone like her, flirting it is. ]
no subject
[ She was actually more comfortable with hanging out talking about arson with him, even if she thought it was joking. She's just not an arsonist, like she said. Her style is a little more personal, but she's not against joking about crimes. ]
no subject
If I order a pizza, will you eat it? I’ll come to watch and everything.
[ seimei ]

but on the scale of weird ways to eat it's like a 2/10 on my scale so whatever.
Pineapple and bacon with red pepper flakes.
no subject
[ he has no qualms about using soubi’s money to buy someone a pizza, because soubi’s money is his money. ]
no subject
[ She's not inviting a dude who's down with arson jokes(?) to her home when they haven't met in person yet. ]
no subject
[ seimei has some places that he likes to go when he just wants to be outside, and he sends emerald the location—privately—of a little park in level two. ]
> action
She's kind of just standing around looking for him for a minute. He has cat ears normally, so she wonders what she should be looking for now.. ]
no subject
he does feel a little silly carrying a personal pizza all the way to the park, but listen, it’s for a friend, or something. ]
Emerald.
[ he approaches her with quiet footsteps and his usual smile. ]
I kept you waiting. Sorry about that.
no subject
[ She looks him over, her eyes flicking up and down his body. It's nothing weird. Or perhaps it's weirder than it should be. Emerald's semblance relies on her ability to observe the world around her, and her survival habits from the past rely on her ability to locate where a person keeps their valuables in their clothing. It's quick, so most people wouldn't notice it, and her red eyes end up back on his face as she tilts her head to gesture to a bench nearby. ]
There's a bench over there if you want.
[ She has been told not to sit on the ground enough by Akashi that she knows not to just suggest that first anymore, even if she doesn't mind. ]
no subject
[ seimei offers her a vulnerability, mild as it may be. see, he’s trustworthy. he’s weird, but he’s human. ]
You’re more fashionable than I am.
[ as they walk. he hadn’t missed her looking him over, though she was plenty quick, but he treats it like she was simply judging his fashion sense. he does tend to wear the same things, or at least the same basic outfit concept. the man likes to be clothed. ]
no subject
[ Truth be told, if he wasn't a stranger Emerald would've wanted to go somewhere indoors and clean. She's had her fill of filth and squalor for a life time, even if she's used to it. ]
I haven't had the chance to get new clothes in years back home. I like to try stuff here. I don't know about fashionable though, I just like stuff I can move in that draws people's focus where I want it.
[ That probably sounds an awful lot like she wants people to stare at her breasts. She heads to the bench and sits on one end, setting her bag on the bench between the two of them. ]
no subject
[ seimei, despite sounding flirtatious on every other sentence he says, delivers this with a relatively neutral inflection. he doesn’t want her to get the wrong idea—like he really might be hiding a desire to stare at her chest.
then his smile returns, and he offers her the warm box. ]
Are you hungry? It’s got everything you asked for.
