Video | UN: oceangem (dated right after triple moon)
[She was going to try and do this anonymous, and voice to text, but instead she accidentally hit the video option.
So everyone gets a scene of a flustered looking Lapis Lazuli.]
Is it normal for the moon stuff to be so extreme? Not that I'm complaining just...
[A sigh.]
It's unexpected how bad it got.

I'm glad to see you did eventually attain full solidity. Congratulations.
In regards to your question, I haven't been here long enough or conducted extensive enough research to give you an exact answer, but personal experience says that the effects of the moons can vary wildly from month to month. So the question is less is it normal, and more is it normal for you.
no subject
Oh, thanks. You helped, I think.
And no, it's not normal. My species doesn't really... Do that normally.

[Okay, so, full disclosure: Ford is, for better or worse, friends with Larry. Ford knows what Lapis is talking about, because how many blue girls can there possibly be in this city? Ford is also possessed of just enough braincells to know he maybe shouldn't come right out and say he knows when this is (he thinks?) a public conversation.]
Almost any species will have a difficult time adjusting to something it has no prior experience with. The 'extreme' nature of what you experienced makes sense in that context.
[What he's saying is: valid to be flustered.]

Or not doing.
In any case, Ren is going to approach all this with a bit more decorum.]
Are you alright? If you want to talk privately we can.

I hear it can get pretty awful sometimes.
Or different than it was the previous times, like with all the... tentacle bullshit.

[She sighs a little though.]
I think I'd rather have tentacles then whatever it was I went through.

A lot of things can happen from what I've heard so you aren't alone.

[By the sound of it, he had experienced how horrible it can get, so he empathizes.]
Are you alright, Lapis?
no subject
I'm fine, a bit... Not used to it, but I found a way that probably isn't sustainable if it happens again.
